Becker’s claw vacuum pumps and claw compressors utilise a positive-displacement operating principle, similar to rotary vane pumps. Claw pumps are 100% free of oil and contact during operation. To achieve this, two claw-like rotors rotate within a compression chamber. They rotate in opposite directions without touching one another or the chamber.
