The oil-injected screw vacuum pumps in the BOSV series are engineered to deliver steady and reliable vacuum performance, even under demanding operating conditions. At the heart of the design is a screw-specific compression element developed specifically for industrial rough vacuum applications. It uses a precisely matched rotor geometry and operates without the need for an external oil pump.
The closed oil circuit takes on several tasks at the same time. It reliably seals the compression chamber, removes the heat generated during compression, and ensures consistent lubrication of all critical components. This keeps operating temperatures stable, even during long runtimes or when loads fluctuate. The mechanical layout minimizes internal leakage and supports smooth, low-vibration operation of the screw element.
The integrated oil separator in the Becker BOSV series reduces residual oil content in the exhaust air to a maximum of 1 ppm. Within the same closed oil circuit, sealing, cooling, and lubrication are handled efficiently, again without any external oil pump.
