Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) at Gebr. Becker
Wuppertal & Apolda
Understand technology. Master plant operations. Take on responsibility.
As an industrial mechanic at Gebr. Becker, you will receive a sound technical apprenticeship within an internationally active family-run business. At our site in Wuppertal or Apolda, you will learn how machines, plant and work systems are constructed, how they are maintained, and how technical processes operate in day-to-day production. The aim is to train you to a high professional standard and gradually introduce you to roles of responsibility.
What to expect from your training as an industrial mechanic
At the start of your apprenticeship, you’ll acquire fundamental technical knowledge in our in-house training workshop. You’ll then deepen your specialist knowledge in the relevant specialist departments. There, you’ll gain hands-on experience and familiarise yourself with different areas of work.
Your tasks will include, amongst other things, the maintenance and servicing of machines and work systems, working on various assembly lines and, depending on your area of work, customer-focused work in a service environment. Step by step, you’ll take on more responsibility and work increasingly independently.
